Established in 1850 as wire workers and steel fabricators, Albion is a family run engineering company that provides a large range of products in two specialist areas of manufacture to clients around the world.

Our business ethic is based on a foundation of Quality, Reliability & Expertise and we pride ourselves on being able to manufacture both standard and bespoke items across both product ranges of ALBI-GRIPS and ALBI-TRAPS.

ALBI-GRIPS

The leading UK manufacturer of cable grips we have been supplying our products for over 50 years priding ourselves on being number one for quality and reliability. We manufacture our Albi-Grips for major concerns in the wind farm, offshore, cabling, overhead line, telecom and rigging industries.

At Albion we manufacture our cable grips from galvanised, stainless steel and non-conductive materials in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Accreditation.

We carry in stock, for immediate despatch, single eye and double eye design from 10mm dia. to 115mm dia. and open ended design from 10mm dia. to 38mm dia. We are able to manufacture from as small as 4.0mm dia. upwards, with the largest grip manufactured being 1100mm dia. X 175TE  MBL.

We also supply all types of Braided Wire Slings with prices available on request.

Our products have been tested and our Quality Assurance Systems audited successfully by a number of major clients.

Albion offer a design, development and test service for special cable grips designed to specific customer requirement.

We control our own manufacture programme and are therefore able to react quickly to demands for both standard and special requirements.

ALBI-TRAPS

Albion manufacture an extensive range of LIVE CATCH ANIMAL TRAPS covering RODENTS, BIRDS, MAMMALS and other SPECIALIST TYPES (i.e. Water Vole, Eel, Crayfish).

Our traps are used by government bodies, conservation bodies, wildlife trusts, national parks, agricultural co-operatives, specialist projects, gamekeepers and professional pest controllers.

We have been manufacturing our traps for over 30 years to the highest standards in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Accreditation.

Design and quality is constantly monitored and our products are tested and trialed by gamekeepers, pest controllers and conservation organisations. Only materials of the highest standard are used in manufacture to ensure the strength, reliability and quality for which our products are known.
